In today's blog we are going to discuss everything you need to know about a COVID secure party. We understand the rules can be confusing, but not to worry. Non-Stop Kids Entertainment are up to date with all rules & guidelines and we're happy to share!

Your Children's Entertainment!

If you have heard any news companies claim that children's parties are now illegal, we can assure you that this is false information. Kids parties are still very much active. As long as your children's entertainment has taken all of the COVID related risk assessments to make their party safe, you can go right ahead with your kid's birthday party. Here at Non-Stop Kids we provide entertainers to venues on a regular basis and provide them with a full completed risk assessment. This details how we examine and address general and COVID-19 related risks. We have also recently introduced a new package that is completely COVID secure and fun!

All of our entertainers are amazing and bring 110% to every party they perform at. Our entertainers go through strict cleansing & hygiene procedures before, during and after every party they attend. They will arrive well in advance to set up their equipment and will be wearing PPE equipment (e.g. face mask, gloves) if you have requested but once the party has been set up a suitable distance away, we recommend replacing their mask with a transparent face covering such as a visor. Before, during and after the party they will sanitise their hands as well as cleaning & sanitising their party equipment as well. In addition they will also wear gloves or sanitise their hands if they are creating balloon models for your party. We also play any music in a low key way and play social distanced party games, all the while we follow all the guidelines.

Our head office constantly monitors every one of our entertainers and if they have developed even the smallest of Coronavirus symptoms, we will immediately replace them with another. All of our entertainers are phenomenal and just as good as each other. Your entertainer will call you before the party to introduce themselves, go over any details of the party and answer any enquiries you may have and vice versa. You are guaranteed a fantastic party with your entertainer taking away the hassle of running the party. COVID Secure Venue!

A COVID secure venue are village halls, pubs and community centres who have followed all of the Government Guidelines and taken all risk assessments to make their building secure. The venues will have completed the 'Staying COVID-19 Secure in 2020' Notice that breaks down five steps taken for safer working together. The five steps for working together include carrying out a COVID-19 risk assessment and sharing the results with the people who work here and ensure they have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace.

If your venue has taken relevant risk assessments, you're good to go! Venues can hold a large number of people in attendance with families arriving in groups of 6. Each family household will be seated around a table or a group of chairs to ensure that social distancing measures are maintained. Each household group will remain separate and keep to their respective areas while your entertainer will have enough space to perform 2 - 3 meters away from everyone. When it comes to the birthday cake your children's entertainer can play The Happy Birthday song while the birthday child blows out their candles. The cake with candles on must not be cut and shared to anyone but the household group. We have attached an illustration below that will paint the picture much better of room layout.

Your venue will need to communicate with your children's entertainment as well to pass along risk assessments. This is just to make sure both parties are aware of all the assessments and have taken all the necessary steps to ensure everyone is safe and has a great time! Your guests will be required to provide their name and contact number to the venue and to your entertainment company.
