Rules & Guidelines In Wales | Children's Entertainment With Non-Stop Kids

Updated: Aug 10, 2023

A couple of weeks ago, the UK Government officially removed all social restrictions within the country. This means there are no more compulsory rules on wearing face masks in most places, no more table service in restaurants, no limitations on how many people can gather and all remaining businesses have officially reopened.

Regulations and Directives in Wales | Children's Entertainment by Non-Stop Kids

However, something we have to emphasize very carefully is these changes only apply to the UK only. Wales have their own set of social restrictions that are currently still in place. The good news is you can still go ahead and secure your children's entertainment with Non-Stop Kids. We are a national company who cover the whole of the country with over one hundred entertainers spread across each region. We're a COVID Secure company who follow all the rules & guidelines set in your area.

What Are The Plans?

Now, we're going to break down what the current rules & guidelines are in Wales and what their plans are to ease them within the upcoming days. As of July 17th, 2021, there are no legal restrictions on how many people can gather outdoors. You are also allowed to have up to 6 people meet indoors within private homes and holiday accommodation. Ice rinks are now permitted to re-open as well. Children of up to 30 who are from organisations such as the Brownies and Scouts will be allowed to attend residential centres over the summer holidays. Furthermore, organised indoors events are allowed for up to 1,000 seated or 200 standing can take place under risk assessment while taking reasonable measures.

This is their plan so far. If the Wales Government feels like they are in a good position to go ahead and ease their restrictions, they will go ahead and continue doing so from August 7th, 2021. The next plan will be to remove all legal restrictions on the number of people who can meet indoors. This applies to private homes, public places and events. All businesses and premises will be able to open once again, including nightclubs. Lastly, face coverings will remain a legal requirement indoors, except for hospitality premises. This will all be kept under review.

What's Next?

As long as everything goes to plan and the Wales Government can feel they can go ahead to remove lockdown restrictions soon, we'll be good to go. We're thrilled there's a sense of normality returning to everyone. A little bit longer and we'll be good to go. In the meantime, don't forget to secure Non-Stop Kids for your children's entertainment. We're more than happy to talk you through everything you need to know.
