Even before lockdown happened, Non-Stop Kids have performed in many villages halls over the years and we understand why they are important to have for your child's party. There is nothing wrong with hosting your kids party at home but in some circumstances, it's definitely more ideal to book a venue and that's what we're going to talk about in today's blog.


Capacity!


Depending on how many kids you are planning to invite, the capacity is something that definitely needs to be considered. It sounds simple yet important. The last thing you want is for the room to be too tight and stop the healthy flow of moving across the room, especially when we still have to maintain the two meter rule for now. Finding the right venue should include making sure there is enough capacity space for everyone to be in without feeling claustrophobic. If you were considering holding your party at home but with a large number of guests attending, it may take away the atmosphere and energy of the party and that's the last thing we want.


The type of party also determines the size of the venue. If you are looking to throw a huge party and want enough space to add extra party accessories as well (e.g party equipment, tables for gifts) then that is something to consider as well. The type of party you want as well will also play into your final decision. The Location!


While deciding on a venue try to choose one that is the most convenient and appealing for all of your guests. Everyone will be travelling their own way to the location of the party and the best way to make sure they get their safely is to pick a location that's close and easy to find. The last thing we want to happen is you hire out a venue but none of your guests could attend because the location wasn't within a reasonable distance for them. While you can't capture the perfect location for everybody, the best you can do is pick a location that's easy to go to. The location also helps set the atmosphere of the party. Imagine a venue that has a beautiful view of a nearby open field with a nice sunrise view.


Room For Entertainment!


If you are planning to hire a children's entertainer to perform for your venue, make sure you accommodate enough space for their arrival. Non-Stop Kids entertainers will arrive with their own equipment that needs to be set up with reasonable space. We set up half hour in advance to ensure we have enough time to set everything up with plenty of time to get started. It's also ideal to have a parking space reserved for your entertainer so they are guaranteed a parking space and won't have to park a far distance away.
