There's a lot to consider and sounds like a daunting thought, but not to worry because we're here to help. We're going to break down each tip in depth and the best ways to go about planning children's parties.

Plan Early!
We can't emphasise this enough. Never leave planning your kid's party till the last minute. When you only decide a week or so to go ahead with your planning, there's so much to do in so little time that you will want to pull out your hair. Plan your children's birthday party as soon as possible. Ideally, look at two or three months in advance. This will give you plenty of time to send out the guest list, find the location of your party and secure a great children's entertainer as well. Planning early is the best thing you can do.
Remember: Less Is More!
It's easy to assume getting everything you can possibly obtain is crucial, but you have to remember the rule of less is more. A brilliant children's entertainer and the location of the party is all you really need. Our entertainers have attended parties where there have been bounty castles, bubble/foam machines and a DJ. When you throw too much into the mix, the kids get overwhelmed and don't know what to do with themselves. There's no way they're going to have time to do everything. It's essential money going down the drain for you. As long as you have an incredible entertainer to provide a fun & engaging experience, you're good to go.
Consider The Day & Time!
Most parents opt to go for a weekend slot and typically run a party between two hours. While there's nothing wrong with that, there are a couple of things to consider. The time of the party can make a difference. The best time slots to go for are typically 11AM till 1PM and 3PM till 5PM. Certain time slots such as 2PM to 4PM are known as a "Day Killer". This time slot conflicts with the food schedule. Children will have already had their lunch and therefore will not be hungry later on. It generally means that the food will be left and you will have a lot of waste afterwards. Furthermore, from 2PM till 4PM, it practically takes the whole day up. A great deal of parents will look at a 2pm till 4pm invitation and conclude that they would rather do something together as a family and therefore say no.
We are also finding that midweek parties are becoming increasingly popular this year. These are birthday parties that take place between Monday to Friday.
