Bouncy Castles

Bouncy castles are very popular, especially in the Summer. A lot of our clients will book a bouncy castle alongside us. The thing is when you book our Hassle Free Package, having a bouncy castle is overkill. The kids will be enjoying what we are doing so much that the bouncy castle will be rarely used. The other problem with Bouncy Castles is they will frequently cancel on you if the weather is bad and in the UK, rain is common. It’s not really their fault they cancel because of health and safety. However, we have several people contacting us daily asking for last minute help because their bouncy castle has been cancelled. In the long run booking, a bouncy castle is not really worth it if you are hiring an entertainer.


A lot of parents will organise a buffet where the children will line up and fill their plates with food. It can cause chaos and ultimately leads to a lot of food being left over and wasted. It’s much easier to make up pre-made snack boxes for the children. This way there is no waste and it’s a quicker and easier process.

Balloons All Over The Floor. We love seeing a really well decorated venue especially when parents have gone to town with the theme of the party! However, one thing that some parents do is leave blown up balloons all over the floor. It looks great when the kids walk in, but it can lead to lots of problems for the entertainer. Firstly it makes it harder to get the kids attention when the entertainer wants to start the show. Also if there are balloons everywhere it can be quite distracting for the children during the show. If there are balloons bouncing around everywhere it’s very tempting to grab the balloons and start playing with them. The kids aren’t being naughty when they do this, it’s just that balloons are very distracting! The way around this is to get the children to put the balloons at the back of the room before the magic show starts. However this can take time which would be better spent entertaining the kids. The best thing to do is get rid of the balloons and focus on the other decorations.
