It's quite common at our childrens entertainer that we have parents or clients ask if our entertainers can provide a DBS check in advance. This isn't usually a problem because most of our entertainers are DBS checked anyway.

The point we are trying to make is kids entertainers don't really need a DBS check. You have to remember a DBS check is usually required if an adult is left alone with a group of children. Children's entertainers will never be left alone with the kids. They are not there to babysit the children. Their role is to perform entertainment at a party event you have arranged. There will always be other adults and parents present with your entertainer. Even at schools there you will be teachers present. No entertainer will ever be left alone.
