But we wanted to take this time to offer advice on what to do if your Christmas entertainer has decided to cancel your booking and only decided to let you know at the last minute.
Why Would They Cancel?
There are several reasons why they might decide to do this. It's usually one man band entertainers who are likely to do this. There is a good chance they will have fallen ill, accepted a better gig or even have a family emergency. Because they work alone, there is no one else to cover their shift. This brings us to the main point of this blog. What do you do if you have been let down by your original Christmas entertainer. The first step is to not panic. Once you have confirmed with your entertainer that they definitely cannot make their original booking, ask if they know any other entertainer who can take their place.
If they don't, go ahead and start searching for any other entertainment companies who are local to your area. They may have some availability. If you cannot find anyone who is local to you, the last thing you can try is to contact a national children's entertainment company. They have a large team available and will cover most if not all of the country. Check if they have any availability at all.
